Since an early age I have been involved in sport. I began my career as a dancer at the age of 5, at the age of 11 I decided to make the move to gymnastics where I competed at a state and national level.

As I began my teaching career, I fell in love with the health and fitness industry. It gave me the fulfilment that gymnastics did and made me work to continue to push past the impossible. I decided to take my fitness career to the next level after seeing one of my peers compete, she inspired me to take my fitness training seriously.

As a fitness competitor I’ve been training for just under 6 years. This sport is my true passion as it combines my two favourite elements of fitness: gymnastics and weight lifting.

Heck yes, I love pineapple on pizza.

I’m a big kid at heart. If there's a prank or mischief I’m there! So Id say Im still working on my adulting skills ?

Monday: Stretch, abs and yoga.
Tuesday: Full body weights circuit plus skills training.
Wednesday: Cardio (HIIT on the assault bike or a plyometric circuit).
Thursday: Full body weights circuit plus skills training.
Friday: Mountain bike ride or Surf.
Saturday: Fasted weights circuit.
Sunday: Stretch session + mountain bike ride, surf or yoga session.

Meal 1: Core Pro 25 protein shake.
Meal 2: Banana + handful raw nuts.
Meal 3: 2 eggs, quinoa salad (tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, coriander) + home made olive oil dressing.
Meal 4: Dark chocolate, pomegranate juice.
Meal 5: Chicken or salmon, rice, green veggies.
Meal 6: Core Pro 25 protein shake or 2 eggs.

To place top 3 in an IFBB Pro show.
To compete in an endurance mountain bike riding competition.
To establish an outdoor education and an athlete development program at my current school.

Be in a calorie deficit, be consistent, start slow and ensure you have HIIT or metcon training in your program.

Everything takes time!
Trust the progress, work hard and the results will show.
Don't compare yourself to others, It's not their journey it's yours!

Change it up!
In the off-season I eat clean and healthy without going overboard. I know my limits and when to pull back.
During prep I speak with my coach, if I'm craving any food we figure out a way to balance those cravings.

Live, laugh and love! You need all three to live a balanced and happy life.
