The Most Delicious On-The-Go Snack. Or the Ultimate Dessert Treat. These Protein Peanut Butter Cups are a staple everyone needs to know how to create!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Freeze Time: 5 minutes
- 2 scoops – Merica Labz Patriots Whey or Whey Protein Powder
- 2 teaspoons – Powdered Stevia
- A pinch – Pink Himalayan Salt
- 2 tablespoons – Unsweetened Cacao Powder
- 1 Cup – Coconut Oil
- 1.5 Cups – Peanut Butter
- Measuring Cups
- A Large Mixing Bowl
- A Teaspoon & Tablespoon
- Silicone Cupcake Mould Tray
Step 1: Making the Chocolate Protein Base Layer
Place 1/2 Cup of Coconut Oil and 1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter into a large microwave-safe mixing bowl. *Note: this is only some of the Coconut Oil and Peanut Butter NOT all of it. Microwave for approximately 45 seconds until soft/melted
Add 2 Tablespoons of Unsweetened Cacao, 1 Teaspoon of Stevia and a pinch of Pink Himalayan Salt. Combine the mixture thoroughly and ensure all no lumps remain.
Once the mixture has cooled down significantly, add 2 Scoops of Merica Labz Patriots Whey Protein Powder and continue to combine the mixture until smooth.
Spoon 1 Tablespoon of the mixture into each individual cupcake mould (you can add more for a thicker base if desired). Once complete, transfer the tray into the freezer for approximately 5 minutes to set.
Step 5: Making the Peanut Butter Layer
Place the remaining Coconut Oil and Peanut Butter into a clean mixing bowl and melt just like in Step 1. Once melted, add 1 Teaspoon of Stevia and a pinch of Pink Himalayan Salt. Combine the mixture until smooth and allow to cool for 2 minutes.
Step 6: Combining the Layers
Retrieve the Chocolate Protein Layer from the freezer. It should be solid after the 5 minutes. Spoon 1 Tablespoon of the Peanut Butter mixture on top of the first layer (you can add more for a thicker top layer if desired)
Freeze for an additional 5 minutes and then ENJOY! Keep your Whey Protein Peanut Butter Cups in the freezer to prevent melting.

You can get creative and top the Protein Peanut Butter Cups with anything you have on hand i.e Crushed Roasted Nuts, Dried Berries, Desiccated Coconut or Shavings of Dark Chocolate. This will, of course, alter the macros of each Peanut Butter Cup.
